In 2010 we found out that we were expecting a set of twins. We felt so blessed to finally be expecting and to be expecting a pigeon pair. Our twins entered this world early at 28 weeks. Life was a mere roller coaster of unknowns. We remained positive that both our babies would survive and live a normal life.

During our time of preparation we realized that there were few products on the market in South Africa designed specifically for twins. Prams were either too big or did not cater for two babies. We extended our search to European products. They were better suited for travelling and maintaining an outdoor lifestyle with twins – something we feel very passionate about.

Double Trouble was established in the beautiful Cape Town in June 2012. With a vision and passion of extending our product range catering for twins. We made it possible to purchase a good quality pram right here in South Africa. The Double Trouble twin was perfect as it is small, compact and of exceptional quality. Most importantly we want to provide a practical solution to parents of multiples. Our goal is to sell products that make a difference to the lives of parents of multiples. Products which allow parents to enjoy getting out and about with their twins.

Establishing a new brand is not easy but with great products it almost seems effortless. We were soon known as THE company for multiples. We have many parents of triplets reaching out to us for a solution. Our single pram range was born from this and we have never looked back. Now appealing to parents of singletons we are able to cater for the entire baby market from birth to toddler.

We have loved every minute since opening Double Trouble and we receive great satisfaction in hearing about all the journeys our parents and our prams travel.
